What is causing this Error?
IFS errors indicate they cannot communicate with their assigned network endpoint, as they may be misconfigured or offline. This particular error has been tied to the Interface - Network Node variable.
Special Case:
This error can also be caused due to using an incompatible version of Micros RES3700 with the Shift4 Bridge. (Example: Micros RES 5.7 uses a different database structure than Micros RES3700 v5.0 – v5.4 and requires using OPI 6.2 as an integration solution.)
How do I resolve this Error?
You will need to validate you have the correct "Network Node" assigned in the POS Configurator for this setup. Go to POS Configurator> Devices > Interfaces and change the "Network Node" to the MICROS server.
Special Case Resolution:
- Open Micros Control Panel.
- Click Help on the top of the window, and select About Control Panel.
- The Micros version will display in a separate window.
-
Compare the currently installed Micros version with the Oracle Payments Reference Guide. If the Micros RES3700 version requires OPI 6.2 you will need to contact the listed POS Dealer on file for assistance with upgrading your Micros solution from Shift4 Bridge to Oracle Payment Interface (OPI).
