Description: Review the steps necessary to download the driver for the Ingenico iPP320/iPP350 PIN Pad below.
Visit the Google Drive to download the Ingenico USB Drivers Package Installer before continuing. This driver must be installed on Windows 7 units to ensure COM Ports do not change. Windows 10 and above do not require the extra driver.
Important: The iPP320/iPP350 PIN Pad will NOT work on Windows 7 terminals without the installation of this USB Driver.
Under the Windows Administrator profile, copy the Ingenico USB Drivers Package Installer to the desktop. Once copied, find the file icon (below) and double-click it to launch the wizard.
On the Ingenico USB Drivers Wizard Welcome screen, press Next to begin the installation.
Press Next to install using the default destination folder.
Upon clicking the installation file, the USB Driver Parameters window appears. This window allows you to force the COM port to be your preferred port. It is recommended by Ingenico that you DO force the port to your preferred one. To do so:
- Check the Force COM Port Feature enabled box.
- Under Select Connection Order, input the preferred port COM 99 (not all Windows have to be populated).
- Do not select any items under Product ID or the Virtual COM Port fields.
- When complete, select Next.
Optional: On the Advanced Parameters screen, remove the option to Uninstall Microsoft Usbser driver(s), then press Next to continue.
Note: If opting to leave the option of Uninstall Microsoft Usbser driver(s) enabled, this may require a reinstallation if utilizing other USB devices with this machine.
Leave the Start Menu Folder selection at its default location, then press Install to begin the installation.
When the installation is complete, make sure Reboot now is checked and then press Finish to exit.
