Description: Audit Trails allow Shift4 to understand how a transaction was run and can help to explain abnormal transaction behavior a transaction may be experiencing. It is helpful to collect an Audit Trail to facilitate communication or escalation to other parties for issue resolution.
Note: The Audit Trail must be enabled on the logged-in user's Lighthouse Transaction Manager (LTM) user profile settings. Select User > Change Profile, scroll down to Other Options and verify that the Show Audit Trail check box is selected. If it is not, check it and click Apply to enable this feature.
Now when viewing the basic transaction information for the transaction you're researching, you should see the Audit Trail section.

Each internet Browser has proprietary methods to collect and share the information in the browser.
All Browsers: Copy and Paste
If for some reason the above methods are unavailable and/or you are having trouble accessing them, you can simply copy the entire page and send it. To do so, perform the following:

- Press Ctrl+A on your keyboard to select the entire page (alternatively, right-click on the page and click Select All).

- Open your desired e-mail application and begin to compose a message.
- Press Ctrl+V on your keyboard to paste the copied elements into the email body (alternatively, right-click in the e-mail and click Paste).
- Address to support@shift4.com, include the Case Number in the Subject line, and click Send.
