Resolve "9842 Cardswipe Invalid – Garbage Data" Error on Universal Transaction Gateway

This error indicates that the interface is sending invalid or garbage data in a transaction field, for example sending P2PE data in the CardNumber field rather than the P2PE field. Enable and collect Trace of an example of the issue, see How to turn on Verbose Trace in the Universal Transaction Gateway (UTG). then escalate to Technical Services to take over the call and review.
