What causes this error?
The system is unable to post changes to the FINAL Receipt as the Kitchen Display System (KDS) license is unable to authenticate as valid.
How do I resolve this error?
Attempt to refresh the licenses if you have had a valid license in the past.
- Go to Start > Run and type licmanager.
- Navigate to the Kitchen Display System tab.
- The license will have a red 'x’
or a green check mark
next to it, which identifies if a license is present. You can re-verify this by clicking on the reload button, or double-clicking on the license in question to trigger a status check

- If refreshing doesn't work, you will need to obtain a valid KDS license from your MICROS dealer.
