Windows 7, 8.1, and 10.
Click Start, in the search field type "System Information" this will show a list of programs.
(If the option does not show the user is not logged into an Admin User for Windows.)
1: The page that opens will be "System Summary". Here you can find the Operating System Information, Computer Name, Manufacturer/Model , Processor Information, and Physical Memory (RAM) Information.
2: After recording this information, navigate to the system tree on the left hand side and select "Components". Under this Selection you will see "Storage". Select Storage and a new option will appear labeled "Drives" which should be selected.
The Hard Drive information will be displayed.
3: To gather Network Information though system info, select "Components" in the system tree, then select "Network" and finally "Adapter".
This will bring up a large list of devices, most of which will be labeled "Not Available". The merchant will need to locate their installed or virtual Ethernet adapter. Under that will be listed the MAC address, IP Address, and will show if DHCP is enabled or not.
