What causes this error?
After adding a Gift Card to the check and you select CC Auth, this error can occur if one of the following is true:
- The incorrect SIM\Inquiry is assigned to the button softkey for use with Gift Cards, or the wrong softkey was used for this sale
- The GC Item is being identified as a Non-RVC item instead of a Standard Revenue Item
How do I resolve this error?
- If using Gift Cards, check the Sim\Inquire details assigned to the soft key button. This should be assigned to Sim\Inquiry 5
- This message can result from trying to issue, activate or reload a Gift Card with the “SVC Card” menu item class (or service charge) being configured incorrectly. Please review the "SVC Card" setup in Micros
