Sometimes, due to regularly scheduled hardware and system upgrades, it becomes necessary to reinstall your Shift4 processing software. This can be secluded out ahead of time with our Account Maintenance team by emailing them at myaccount@shift4.com. Please provide the following answers if applicable to your situation and any documentation available:
- What is the anticipated date of the switch-over or upgrade?
- Will your interface software be changing or upgrading?
- Will you be adding new or additional EMV terminals to your merchant account?
- Will your merchant bank or merchant processor information be changing?
- Will you be adding on any additional Shift4 services like 4Res or IT'S YOUR CARD (IYC) gift cards?
